Erika met Sam her freshman year at Arizona State University and they bonded over cooking Knödel with Bratwurst while studying engineering. Their friendship has grown over the years to be loyal and supportive as they chase new experiences and adventures together!

Jay and Christian met in middle school and became roommates and best friends in college where they had a lot of fun discovering the east coast on roadtrips and adventures!

Erika and Elise met in the International Baccalaureate (IB) Middle Years Program in 8th grade and forged a friendship that helped each other through the craziness of IB and have stuck by each other's sides ever since!

Jay and Aldair met in middle school and have made lots of fun memories off-roading and mudding in the woods of North Carolina!

Erika met Jay's sister Carolyn and they quickly bonded over science, history, and cooking in the kitchen together where they must team up to keep Jay humble when his "awesomeness" gets to be too much! ;)

Jay and Andrew met in middle school and some of their best times were captured on a boys trip to Tennessee where they took lots of photos of nature!

Jay's sister Christina is such a wonderful and talented young girl and we are so excited for her to be our flowergirl!

Jay's cousin Alisher is such an intelligent and thoughtful young boy and we are so excited for him to be our ringbearer!

Erika's brother Niko, who has been her German castle exploring buddy and is now the wizard of all things tech and cyber, is excited to welcome our guests!

Erika's cousin Julia, who has been her go-to for late night calls that turn into laugh fests for over 4 hours in between college studies, is excited to welcome our guests!

Erika's parents have been her biggest role models and supporters in life, encouraging her to pursue her dreams and giving her so many opportunities to grow as a person. From taking her all over Germany and Europe as a kid, to staying up late to help her with her science projects and cheer her on at her basketball games and horse shows - they have always been by her side and she feels so blessed to have their support as she enters a new chapter of her life.

Jay's parents have always encouraged him to pursue his passion in engineering and explore what the world has to offer. From family roadtrips throughout the East and Midwest of the US, to gifts from Dad's international business trips, Jay is so grateful for their steadfast support and care. Jonathan and Nazokat are excited to see what the future has to offer for the new couple!

Erika's neighbor and math mentor "Uncle Jim" has become a close friend of the couple and we are so honored to have him officially marry us!
